In today’s world 1 in 10 people don’t have access to electricity. In rural areas, it’s 1 in 5. In all, 840 million people are living without access to electricity and another 1.2 billion people are living with unreliable access to electricity. That’s over 2 billion people who rely on fossil fuels and bios mass as their primary sources of energy.

The time to act is now.

4. Installation

Our team of experienced technicians installs the solar system and data logger so it can be monitored for performance and any issues in real time.

5. Commissioning
5. Commissioning

5. Commissioning

Commissioning of the plant covers the complete installation of PV Modules with inverter and the system is further connected to UPS and Power battery banks which are finally connected with the power consumption equipment's as per electrical circuit diagrams

Safety ( internally & externally ) is our prime responsibility while commissioning of the plant successfully for daily Power usage by Schools / clinics / MFI customers

6. Data Logger Installation
6. Data Logger Installation

6. Data Logger Installation

Data loggers are electronic devices which automatically monitor and record power generation, use and any problems with the system in real time. This helps us ensure that the solar arrays are functioning properly and are providing the power the schools and clinics need.

7. Handover

Impact Stories

Rajkumari

Rajkumari has three children and lives with her elderly father-in-law. She lost her husband and mother-in-law during the second wave of COVID-19. Her husband was the main bread winner but with him gone her debts started growing. She could not afford to pay her electricity bill and her power was turned off. Rajkumari and her family were living in the dark, relying on candles for lighting. Their situation was getting worse by the day. In response she decided to start working at the farm where her husband had been a laborer. There she heard about our solar microfinance program and reached out to one of our team members. We worked with her to come up with a financing plan that she was comfortable with and she became a customer. She now gets 100% of her power from solar and always makes her micro loan payments on time.

Ayodhya Prasad

Ayodhya Prasad operates a small medical store in the Phakarpur block of Bahraich, living approximately 17 kilometers away from his shop in a nearby village. He was increasingly frustrated by the frequent power outages lasting up to 14 hours, which forced him to close his store early each evening.

Seeking a solution to this issue, Ayodhya encountered one of our local representatives who provided an overview of our company and its product offerings. In rural areas, residents are often hesitant to seek financing or loans, as they have been deceived by fraudulent companies in the past. However, our representative and program manager instilled trust and confidence in Ayodhya, assuring him of our company's integrity and the quality of our products. Consequently, he agreed to purchase the system through micro-financing.

Today, Ayodhya is thrilled with the system's performance and the support he receives from our company. Thanks to SVP's system, he can now keep his shop open until 8:00 PM, extending his operating hours by 3 to 4 hours compared to before.

Vinay Prakash

Vinay Prakash resides in Khalepurva, a village in the Mahsi Block of Bahraich. He operates a small electronics repair shop in the village, while his wife and sister run a modest tailoring business from their shared home. With three children and an elderly, bedridden mother who is 85 years old, Vinay's family requires a reliable source of energy to support their various needs.

During one of our routine marketing campaigns, we introduced Vinay to our energy backup system. Excited by the prospect, he explained how he had been searching for a comprehensive solution to cater to the demands of his shop, his wife and sister's work, and the care of his mother. Vinay was grateful that we did not require any bank documentation during the financing process for his Premium-B system.

Consistently paying his installments on time, Vinay can now work an additional 2 to 3 hours daily in his shop, thanks to the dependable energy support provided by our system.

Vivek & Shadvi

The Devpada village school in the Raigad district of Maharashtra has 150 students and six classrooms for grades one through eight. Fourth-grade students Vivek and Shadvi shared their excitement about the solar array installed in their school by SVP. "Before Solar Village Project powered our school we never knew when we could use our projectors and computers. Now we can use them whenever we want. Getting solar was one of the best things for us."

Vivek & Shadvi
Mrs. Laxmi & Mr. Ramdas

"ZP School Ambivli," located near the Karjat block of the Raigad district in Maharashtra, serves 70 students from grades one through five.

Mrs. Laxmi Kadam, President of Community Welfare Ambivli, and Mr. Ramdas, the village head, expressed their gratitude to the Solar Village Project for providing a reliable electricity source for the school's students. By installing a 1 kW off-grid solar generating unit at ZP School Ambivli, the project has helped mitigate the issue of inconsistent grid power access, which has deterred many students from attending school regularly.

One student who has benefited from the solar power installation is ten-year-old Riya Hari Dhule, a fifth-grader who enjoys reading and writing. Riya and her family, who live in a hut and travel three kilometers daily to reach the school, are incredibly grateful for the Solar Village Project's contributions.

With the newfound access to electricity, Riya and her classmates can now attend school every day, benefiting from the use of lights, fans, digital libraries, and projectors, among other resources.

Mrs. Laxmi & Mr. Ramdas
Mr. Malse DS

"ZP School Wakas," situated in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, serves 100 students from grades one through seven. These students come from some of the most remote areas of the state, where access to electricity is severely limited. This lack of reliable power has resulted in decreased student attendance and restricted access to digital learning resources.

During a visit to the school, Head Teacher Mr. Malse DS revealed that before the Solar Village Project (SVP) installed a solar-powered grid, student attendance was only around 40%. Since the installation, attendance has dramatically increased to 90%.

Mr. DS expressed his gratitude to the Solar Village Project for donating a 1 kW solar generating solution, stating that the lack of grid electricity made it difficult for both students and teachers to conduct classes effectively in rooms with poor visibility. The solar solution not only benefits the school's students and teachers but also supports the surrounding community, which lacks basic facilities in these remote districts.

Thanks to the Solar Village Project's initiative, schools like ZP School Wakas now have access to a reliable power source, enabling a more engaging and accessible digital learning experience for their students.
